About Me – Q&A Style
Ever wonder what it’s like behind the scenes of the injector-educator-entrepreneur? We sat down with the Beautie behind the brand Limor Weinberg, APRN, to talk shop, style, and what really makes her tick.
What made you realize aesthetics was your forever lane?
Looking back, I think I’ve always been wired for beauty. While other kids were taping posters of teen heartthrobs to their walls, I was collecting editorial spreads from Harper’s Bazaar and obsessing over skincare tips from every ‘90s supermodel interview. I was religious about watching Fashion Television.
But growing up in a strict Middle Eastern household, careers in beauty weren’t exactly encouraged. You either became a doctor, a lawyer… or married one.
So I didn’t see aesthetics as a path until my mom and I opened our first salon and spa. That’s where I did my very first facial back in 2005, and everything clicked. I’d found a space where beauty, healing, and connection came together. Over time, that passion evolved into something bigger. I realized I could combine medicine, artistry, psychology, and entrepreneurship.
And then came the moment after what felt like 100 years of school, certifications and hardships: when a patient looked in the mirror after her treatment and cried tears of joy. That was it. Game over. I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
Biggest “oh sh*t” moment as an injector turned CEO?
ADHD is not your co-founder (trust me). I once tried launching five different businesses at the same time, driven purely by feelings and zero strategy. It was complete chaos.
What I’ve learned (the hard way) is that a business without structure is a really expensive hobby. Now, I run on systems, strategy, and structure.
If you could only teach one thing to every mentee, what would it be?
You don’t need another certification, you need clarity, consistency, and confidence. Stop chasing letters and start OWNING your lane. Trust the universe’s timing.
You’re not behind. You’re not missing anything. You’re right where you need to be!
Oh and one more thing: get support. Whether it’s a mentor, a local injector group, or a community like the Beautie Community, don’t try to build this alone. The hard days are inevitable. Having people to walk through them with you? Priceless.
What’s been your most unexpected business win?
Turning a fun idea into a brand called Fillers Anonymous. From the day we launched 3 years ago, it’s remained an injector fan favorite.
One piece of advice for the injector ready to level up?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Get a mentor. Build your brand. Make that move you’ve been dreaming about.
Coffee order that fuels your day?
I usually drink a double shot of espresso with Korean banana milk (don’t knock it till you try it)
Describe a perfect Sunday
Sleep in, snuggle with Bear (my Yorkie and forever shadow), then either make a cozy breakfast at home or meet friends for brunch. I love wandering through a new neighborhood or checking out a local farmers market, followed by a nap. End it with dinner, sunset drinks!
List 5 things, people may be surprised to learn about you.
- Everyone always thinks I’m mean or intimidating, but I’m actually a big softie. It’s not my fault I’ve had RBF since birth-I swear!
- I don’t hand out compliments casually. If I say it, I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
- I used to be a wedding singer. These days, I mostly perform for my car (and occasionally my dog).
- I may seem super outgoing online, but I’m actually an introverted extrovert and lowkey dread most social events.
- I have an extremely calm exterior but on the inside? My brain is going 1000 mph. Think of a duck floating on a lake: calm and graceful on the surface, but underneath, the feet are paddling like crazy just to stay afloat. That's basically my brain 24/7.
What is your superpower?
I think my greatest asset is my willingness to take leaps of faith, having zero ideas of the outcome. I wouldn’t be where I am today without what I jokingly call a “delusional sense of self.” I’ve always asked myself, “What’s the worst that could happen?” and then before even finishing that thought, gone for it anyway.
Even as a kid, my parents probably didn’t quite understand that part of my personality. I was always the risk taker doing things “normal” kids wouldn’t even think about. I had BIG plans for myself. That instinct to leap before I feel “ready” is exactly how I built my businesses and my life today.
If your life had a soundtrack, what would be the theme song?
